Old North Illuminated is the secular nonprofit organization that preserves and interprets the history of Boston's Old North Church. Established as the Old North Foundation in 1991, Old North Illuminated seeks to highlight the history of the American Revolution as well as the church's 300 year history. The organization's mission "inspires active citizenship and courageous, compassionate leadership by interpreting and preserving the Old North Church & Historic Site."
